4. Domain Registration Data
When you register or transfer a domain, certain contact information may be required by domain registries, registrars, ICANN-related policies, WHOIS/RDAP systems, dispute processes, verification requirements, and applicable law. Some information may be shared with domain service providers, registries, registrars, escrow providers, compliance systems, or parties involved in domain disputes or legal requests.
Domain privacy or redaction options may vary by domain extension, registry policy, registrar policy, and applicable law.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Our website and client area may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, protect sessions, improve functionality, analyze usage, and support security. You may control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling cookies may affect website or client-area functionality.
6. Sharing Information
We may share information where necessary to provide services, comply with obligations, protect our systems, or operate our business. This may include sharing information with:
- Domain registries, registrars, and domain service providers.
- Payment processors, banks, fraud prevention providers, and billing systems.
- Hosting, data center, network, SSL certificate, control panel, and software providers.
- Security, monitoring, spam prevention, malware scanning, and abuse-prevention providers.
- Professional advisors, legal authorities, regulatory bodies, or parties involved in disputes where required or appropriate.
We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and you are responsible for maintaining strong passwords and protecting your account access.
Current integrations include Google Analytics for website measurement, Google reCAPTCHA for security and abuse prevention, and Stripe for payments; bank transfer is also available. Depending on the feature and configuration, these providers may process technical, interaction or payment information. See the Cookie Policy for details about these services and your cookie choices. Optional Google Analytics is off until you allow it through our cookie controls.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, manage accounts, comply with legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, and meet registry or registrar requirements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and service.
For hosting services, AnyKey performs backups weekly and retains backup copies for two weeks. Customer website files and databases in active hosting storage are deleted immediately when hosting cancellation takes effect. Customers should export their website files and databases before cancellation takes effect. Previously created backup copies may remain until their two-week retention period expires; cancellation does not mean every backup copy is erased immediately. Backup availability does not guarantee that a particular recovery point or restoration will be available.
The cookie preference record stores your optional Analytics choice, timestamp and consent-policy version for up to 180 days in your browser. This preference duration is separate from hosting backups and from account, billing and support record retention. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice.
9. Your Choices
You may access or update certain account information through the client area. You may also contact us to request assistance with account information, communication preferences, or privacy-related questions. Some information may need to be retained for legal, billing, security, registry, registrar, or operational reasons.
10. International Services
AnyKey SX may use service providers or infrastructure located in different jurisdictions. By using our services, you understand that your information may be processed or stored where our providers, registries, registrars, or systems operate.
11. Children
Our services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
